THE COURTIQ PLAYBOOK / NBA 2K27

Shooting.

Understand the shot before you change the jumper. Start with the fundamentals, then work through visual cues, timing and the variables worth tracking.

Start with a shot you take regularly. Keep the jumper, input method and camera fixed while you compare its feedback with the motion you see. Stationary catches, moving shots and free throws deserve separate practice records.

The shooting guide explains Timing and Tempo, while the release-cue guide helps you choose a visible landmark. Read the dated update record before attributing a changed result to your setup, then use the tracker to retain your own observations.

PUT IT INTO PRACTICE

Build a reference session

Record your setup before changing it. Keep all attempts and identify the question the next session should answer. This lets you return to a known configuration when an adjustment is harder to read.
