October 8: v2.0 announcement

The official feed lists shooting, passing, defense, steals and dribbling among the areas covered. It schedules PS5 and Xbox Series X|S for October 8, with PC and Switch 2 following shortly before October 16. That schedule doesn't confirm installation on an individual system.

September 17: the earlier shooting tuning

The preceding automatic adjustment made contested attempts less effective and gave open attempts a small improvement. It required returning to the Main Menu, without a download. Keep that tuning date separate from a numbered title update.

What to do before changing your jumper

Save your current configuration and record the version shown on your platform. Repeat a familiar stationary shot before trying a different animation. If you change the shot selection, cue and controller setup together, you won't know which difference affected the result.

Separate open and contested attempts in the log. A session containing more difficult shots doesn't provide a clean comparison with an earlier session of open catches. Keep online conditions and game modes distinct as well.

What this update record establishes

This page summarizes the dated publisher announcements. It doesn't assign a measured effect size, declare a new best jumper or infer changes omitted from the notes. A version number identifies a release; it doesn't establish a CourtIQ performance result.

For your own comparison, retain the earlier results and add a new session. Write down the question you're testing before you look at the outcome. If the conditions changed, record that difference instead of attributing everything to the update.
