NBA 2K enforcement
On September 24, 2026, 2K reported permanent bans for unfair shooting aids and input-manipulation scripts. Device connectivity does not establish permission.
What the label leaves unanswered
Start with the mechanism. Ask whether the feature changes a button duration, stick motion or another input. If it claims to adapt, ask which information it responds to and how that response can be checked.
A product name doesn't answer those questions. Keep the feature description and the observed result in separate notes so the advertised outcome doesn't become the evidence for itself.
Read the attempts that missed
Ask for a complete session with a declared attempt count and clear inclusion rules. You need the missed and interrupted attempts as well as successful ones to assess consistency.
Record the complete jumper, game version, platform, mode, input method and configuration. If the claim covers multiple conditions, look for evidence in those conditions instead of extending one result to all of them.
| Evidence | Reasonable conclusion |
|---|---|
| One successful clip | The displayed attempt succeeded |
| A complete session with conditions | Results for that configuration and session |
| Repeated matched sessions | A stronger basis for a bounded comparison |
| A universal promise | Not established by a selected set of successes |
Keep configuration separate from measurement
A duration saved in a script is an instruction to the device. It doesn't, by itself, reveal the game's internal timing threshold. Ask how a claimed measurement was obtained and whether the method could distinguish the competing explanations.
If the result changes after an animation or mode change, keep that new configuration separate. Don't quietly replace the conditions under which the original claim was made.
Use a manual reference
Build a repeatable practice routine with your normal input and a cue you can see. That gives you something concrete to compare with a more complicated setup. You can learn from the log without accepting a universal performance promise.
