Start with a specific unlock
Name the animation or ability you want and record its exact category. A vague goal such as better handling doesn't tell you whether the next rating point reaches anything you can identify.
For an animation, note the height range and required attributes beside its name. Raising a rating doesn't change your player's height, so a plan can reach a rating target and still miss another condition.
Preview the actual gain
2K's gameplay preview confirms that Cap Breaker attribute boosts can be previewed in the Builder. Use the preview on the build you intend to play and record the resulting value before treating the upgrade as part of your plan.
Do the arithmetic from the displayed final value. Don't copy another build's gain or assume that spending one reward always adds the same number of rating points.
Keep progression separate from the build you have
The MyPLAYER announcement includes Cap Breakers among Build Specialization rewards, and the Season 1 announcement also lists them among progression rewards. Read your own reward track before assigning an unearned upgrade to a plan.
Make two versions of your notes: what the build can support now and what it could support after the rewards you intend to earn. That makes the waiting period and the dependency visible.
Compare targets in one worksheet
Give every candidate the same columns. If you can't fill in a requirement or a previewed value, check it in the game before making the comparison. A blank cell is more useful than a guessed threshold.
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Target | Exact package or ability and its category |
| Conditions | Height, required ratings and any visible unlock restriction |
| Current build | Current rating and current access |
| Preview | Final rating shown for the planned upgrade |
| Reward status | Already earned or dependent on future progression |
| Decision | Which requirement is reached and what remains missing |
Check the result before committing
Compare the final build with the target list once more. If your height is outside a requirement, choose a different target. If the preview remains below the required rating, revise the plan instead of counting the upgrade as a completed unlock.
This is a planning method, not a ranked attribute spread. We haven't established a universal Cap Breaker allocation or a complete reward schedule. Use the current in-game preview to settle the exact gain for your build.
